A friend of mine made a interesting point the other day- we, the ecohungry masses have shown our true colors. Once, we boasted a proud collection of reusable tote bags, unbleached cotton denim pants & tees, and vegan leather kicks. Now we can't seem to rip fur off poor critters fast enough! I will guilty admit I am lusting after some fur items myself, maybe a vest or two, a floor length coat of the pimp variety, who knows? All I know is I keep forgetting my reusable tote bags every time I go to the store [and mind you, they're hanging right by the door], and as a vegetarian, I probably shouldn't want to drape hides of animals across my body. Did we just follow the eco-friendly fashion trend out of guilt? Do we feel we paid our debt for enough seasons and now we need to gluttonously reward ourselves with mother nature's finest?

In other news, another friend sent me this site. It is super odd, I wish it was less creepy a more awesome, but the concept is quite interesting.
That is all. Happy beginning of semester, good luck!
